Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh
Geethopadesam park
The focal point is statue of Krishna giving upadesh to Arjun on the eve of mahabharat.
Based on this the concept is Chakra. The design of the park is derived from the shankha - the conch shell that was sounded before and after each day of the great war - Mahabharata to encourage the warriors to fight for the righteous cause - dharma. It represents the sound of Om - the eternal cosmic sound.
We have created mounds as the site is undulating. The pathways meander between mounds, covered with vibrant foliage and flowering shrubs.
