Landscape Consultant to GMR Group for its newly developed Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad, Hyderabad, India. The Shamshabad airport is 5400 acres of green field land. 2600 acres was developed in Phase-I,
of which approximately 200 acres is landscaped area.
The Landscape concept was submitted by Belt Collins, Singapore. Our role was to interpret the concept into design implementation followed by selection of the landscape team, contractors and vendors for execution of the work, setting up a nursery, selection of materials and plants. The landscape highlighted the natural terrain of Hyderabad using natural rocks and naturalized flora adaptable to Hyderabad climate.
